Hey guys...

I was coming home tonight, and I noticed that as I sped up, the steering wheel started to turn right. The hicas light never came on. I stopped and checked the fluid, and it was just under the low line on the hot mark. I got some ATF and filled the reservoir (took about 3 attempts, and about 6 or 7 ounces) and it seemed to be fine for the rest of the ride. Is this a typical instance when the fluid is low? Thanks...

Eric

I call it "squirelly steering"...mine pulls to the right on acceleration and then to the left on braking. Something is loose. I tightened my right tension rod bolt last week and thought that was the cure. It wasn't.

It isn't HICAS since I don't have a working clockspring installed.

This may be a stupid answer, but if you live somewhere where they permit studded tires, groves can be worn into the roadway that are difficult to see, and yet can drag your steering around in ways that make you think something serious is wrong.

Just a wild thought, is all.
