I'm testing my newer PTU using the info in a 91 FSM. There are quite a few tests.. PTU Testing, but to keep it simple, I'll just give info on one of the tests. Testing for continuity between a and g. With g as positive and a as negative, there should be no continuity, reverse polarity, and there should be continuity. Well, I get continuity both ways. Some of the other tests don't seem right too( I get continuity between all the lettered pins no matter the polarity).

To get to the point... My ECU isn't throwing any codes(just 55). Couple that with the fact that I'm using a newer PTU and using the testing methods for a pre-93 PTU(pre-recall). My question is whether the funky harness that I have with my PTU is an adapter, and whether I should be testing my PTU differently. Can anyone help out?
