This would be the first time I have seen a need for a n air regulator.
Has anyone else here had one fail?
I just need to know if I should have some in my repair stockpile.

thanks I not positive if it is really the problem, but my dirty greasy, ratty old z-bible says that the regulator should close when the engine warms up, and it dosen't.
I only ask because every auto parts store I go to asks me what it does and where it goes. (Head up arse)

jay are u from jax if you are i got a regulator that u could have for a couple bucks . it is off from a 1980 280zx i dont know if it would work or not.

BTW...Jay

the air reg never will close all the way. If you have the fsm (factory service manual) just perform the tests on it. Should be ok.
