henry, the Z is a great engineered car but a flaw in thier work was a WEAK clutch- thier was an editorial in car - driver about used cars and if they were good or not and they mentioned the Z's WEAK clutch and also brake rotors warping
the only way to fix the problem is buy buying an aftermarket clutch, RPS, centerforce, clutches are the most respectable names for a Z
beleive me ive gone thru all the problems
Brake rotors, clutche(s) -3 to be exact-every 6 months I had to change the clutch
my Z is a 1991 300ZX Twin Turbo with a greddy exhaust and intake Bigger injectors and a reprogrammed computer it did a 13.2 @109mph
at atco raceway in N.J.
