I just washed my engine last night and now when i drive the power cuts out a 1900 rpm and the car starts to buck. if i give it more gas it does nothing. before i washed it it ran fine.

if you remove the distributor cap you will probably find the inside is wet from condensation. just wipe it dry. also use compressed air to blow out the spark plug recesses.

Throttle Position Sensor is wet, maybe. The black matchbox-sized thing in the side of the throttle body.

An L28E I had did something similar once after an engine wash. I drove it around until the engine heat got rid of whatever water got in the wrong whatever place.

Just to play it safe.......next time you wash your engine, put a plastic bag over the distributor cap.
