yep,are you sure its the belt?did you replace the belt recently?60,000mi.,120,000mi,etc....?
fi you did.did you install the tensioner properly and align the timing marks.
i hate to jump to conclusions without all the imformation,but,checking to see if the belt is still in the right place on the sprockets is very easy its just time consuming(about three hours)
if you do take it apart to check you might as well buy a new timing belt,tensioner,and drive belts it shouldn't cost you more than 50.00 at a parts store(nissan is overpriced)and you won't have to do it again for 60,000 more miles.
