Hello friends;
I have tried every thing you all told me, but my 83 windshield washer still does not work. The switch at the steering is ok, the small motor is ok, the fuses are ok, but still no juice to the motor, oh, I replace the wiper amplifer under the dash. The schematic shows a wire or two going into the wiper motor from the washer, maybe I am wrong, but before I take the motor apart I want you guys input. Thanks.

I have an 82 I could look at later tonight, but I was wondering if the main power for the windshield wipers still runs through your ignition relay. On the earlier models it does like my 78. There are 2 circuits in the ignition relay, one for the starting circuit and another for power to the accessories including windshield wipers.

My wipers quite and it was my main ignition relay but again we are talking different years.

What colour are the wires at the pump?

Is your car turbo or N/A?

Check all the wires at --->

Check the wiring and connectors at the passenger side where they go through the fire wall.. Could be a faulty connection there or a bad ground at the pump..
