I have aQuestion for all you performance buffs what kind of pistons can I get for my 240Z that will go on the orignail block and will raise the compression of the e-88 head. Waht can I do to the head to get more compression? What is teh best kind of Pistons for my car if i start to make it a hot rod??

It depends on what year the motor is. In '73 the combustion chambers in the head were enlarged. The pistons for this motor have small domes to compensate for the enlarged combustion chambers. With the early style E88, E31 or N42, N47 the '73 240Z pistons will get you about 9.5:1 or a little higher (depending on the head you use).
I don't remember the part # for the pistons, but Nissan Motorsports sells them and if you talk to the local Nissan parts dealer you can get them straight from Nissan.
The early style parts # looks something like this (# being numbers I can't remember) #####-E31## and the dome top are something like this #####-E88##.
