Is the pilot bushing for the trans on a TT larger than that of a NA? Thanks.

Some idiot jammed two bushings in the end of the crank of this NA and they are both about a half an inch bigger than the shaft on the trans. I have installed these before in other NAs and they did not look like this. I was told it was a TT trans and that is why I was suspicious and removed it in the first place.
Me thinks prior idiot left the AUTO TRANNY pilot in place...
