I've been following this thread with the hopes of solving my emergency brake problem - the primary rod is rusted off, the adjuster is still hanging from the bracket & the cable is just rolled up &stuck into the under-carriage. Neat, huh?
My local Nissan dealer is not much help with classic parts - can I order the rod & cable on the net?
You guys seem pretty knowledgable in this area - I'm just getting started on what I hope will be a long & winding road of bliss!

Do you have the Motorsport Auto and Victoria British catalogs? I'll try to post numbers for them later.
I also suggest putting the year of your car in the subject line or message. It may help with responses.

Sorry, it's a '77 280Z - I've just ordered a duplicate of the original owner's manual from Nissan publications which will help me identify the specific part #'s. Are these catalogs available on the net?

Sorry, nobody really has that great of a net presence.
Here are some phone numbers for you (Go to http://www.zhome.com for webpages.):

Victoria British
Order Phone: (800) 255-0088

Courtesy Nissan
Order Number: (800) 527-1909
Courtesy offers a discount to anybody who is a member of ANY Z car club.

Tweeks
Phone Number: (800) 428-2200

The Motorsport Auto number was given by somebody else.

Now, are you getting an owner's manual or a factory service manual? Neither one part numbers, but the FSM will help you with maintenance.
