i need to know what to get and use to get my 81 280zx to be painted.i also have trouble starting my car when it is cold.could it be my cold start vavle going bad?

What is the color of the interior?
Some colors go with certain interiors.
I would go for the theme of the Anniversary Edition.

For a Thousand bucks they should include full pin striping as well.
I have a reference car, my 1983 that is mint, it has all of the original paint and striping, so I took about 30 pictures of how these cars are painted and striped to the body shop as well as that web page. I can send these photos if you are ready to restore it soon. Please tell me were you are and what color your interior is and perhaps I can add more towards answering your question.

Thanks for the thumbs up but it should go to Gus at G&S Paint.
It’s a 2+2 1982 not an AE.
What this shows is any car could be many different colors.
Go two tone and pin strip to factory spec and BAM you have a killer looking car.
I wouldn’t do this to my 83 because it has been in hiding for 18 years.
My 83 has original paint and it has some very small micro dings but these are original dings. It still has less than 36K miles on it.
Nevertheless I could have it touched up but then it wouldn’t be original would it?
We decided to paint the 82 even though a buffing would of made look great.
It also had 60K miles on it and this was another reason to paint.
We were looking for outstanding and we have it.
