I bought my 81ZX back in august for $350. Anyway, as I started to restore it, I noticed that the cylinder head is an N42. When I saw it, I was like "what the ****?". Is there any reason why this head would be on an 81ZX? The car only has 80K miles on it, so an engine rebuild or replacement probably has never been needed. Also, I looked at the ownership stuff and the car was bought as a company vehicle. No racing intentions there...

Also.....

I removed the wires the other day foolishly thinking the distributor cap was marked for the cylinders, so I didn't write it down or anything. Whats the firing order? I've been told it's 1-5-3-6-2-4, but its obvious thats not it because it sounds really unhealthy when I try to start it. The engine ran mint before I took the wires off, btw, so nothing is screwed up. The distributor cap has a 1 on it, but I've found Top dead centre to be on the one next to it. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated seeing as I can't get the f'n thing started now.
