For anyone that has read any of my posts about turning 8000 rpm on L28, I apoligize for misinforming you.I got an Auto Math Handbook and reverified my tach today and it turned out it was off 800 rpm at 8000.I thought my speedo was correct but it was off 6 mph at 90 mph, that is why I thought tach was right.I always wondered why the pistons never flew apart ,now I know.Sorry about the mistake! It always pays to measure twice and cut once!!! Norm
