I just installed m 274 deg cam. It was a mess. A long story short, I dopped my timing chain and end up taking off the front cover (I didn't mind that it all because it started to leak.) Now, the problem is when I took off the front cover, the front part off the head gasket came off with the cover. What should I do? should I lift the head and install a new head gasket? or can I just make a gasket to fit.

If the tear isn't to big should be able to use some gasket maker and you should be okay.
