Weeeell so much foneeding just the mustache bar...
I have a '73 240 w/ an r180...Was going to put in a r200 from a 78 280 and I was told that all I needed is the mustache bar...(due to the fact that from '73 forward they moved everything forward....) first of all, the moustache bar no matter how you put it in will not allow the carrier to be back enough for the front mount to line up, and when you try to put it in like the old bar came out, it hits the two flat steel pieces going to the t-links...and even if you did somehow pry it in, the curve of the moustache bar still has everything an inch or so too far forward...
HELP! I'm gonna end up in the looney bin...This r200 3.54 would be nice, but I'm about ready to just throw the r180 3.36 back in...
