It's a roadster sending unit and yes they work much better.

I dont think my sender is working right!!
never reaches as high as it did, and says 0 at idle. which I know is not true... now valve train problems.. been doing it since i rebuild it 4yrs ago..
still runs great..
My question.: someone once told me to use the early 510 sender unit... said somehow it was better!
anyone ever heard this..

Hmm I just call the guy I know at the dealer and tell him I need a roadster sending unit and he knows what I want. There may be only one?
