I am having some idle and loss of power issues, and cannot find a vac leak for the life of me. So, i decided to replace my PCV valve. Upon removal of the hose, I found that the old valve and the hose had gross amounts of oil in them.
I used to have a problem with oil seeping out around the PCV hose where it connects to the valve cover, and after awhile the oil would drip onto the exhaust system and burn off.. Tightening the hose clamp down real good solved that problem, but obviously there is a large amount of oil shooting up that hose and into the intake plenum.

Anybody know how I might help solve this problem and stop the oil from going up the PCV hose?
