on the 1980 280zx does it even have the O2 sensor?,
I had to pull my head this weekend and i didn't see one any place is why i was wondering.

For a 1980, the California version does have an O2, the others do not.

O2 sensor screws into exhaust manifold or downpipe, not head.
I'm sure you knew that -- just checking!
