My car always seems to run better, smoother, and have more power at night when the temp. drops a little. Maybe it just likes black air over white air? It idles smoother and feels a lot faster and I was wondering if this could be either:
1- Too rich mixture,
2. Maybe bad air temp sensor.

If it is the air temp sensor, can that be replaced or does the whole AFM need to be replaced?
Thanks,

Although I can't say for sure with respect to Z's, pretty much all cars(intercooled turbo cars wouldn't be affected so much) should run better in colder air because it is more dense and as such allows the engine to burn more fuel(i.e. more power). Unless your Z runs bad in warmer air or runs slower than other Z's I can't see any need to replace anything.
