hiya all

I'm back with more of my dumb questions heheh, ok well i'm going to change my oil in my car because i bought it like 4 weeks ago and this is the first time i'm doing this so don't laugh;)
1. What kind of oil's do you guys recommend for a 81ZX nonturbo AT(sniff AT:( ) ?
2. How much do i need how many liter's??or how much?
3. Oh yeah i don't know if this is normal but when i get out of my car everytime i think it smells like bad(Might be cause i drive up a hill?), could it be i have a fuel leak ?
Should i get the oil thingie that fixes oil leaks?

4. I saw this fuel injector cleaner thing what brand should i get? And do you guys recommend it does it help etc...

5. Those who have a 280ZX what kind of gas do you guys use and do you see a big difference?like 87,89,92 etc...

Sorry for so many questions just the guy before this used a lot of cheap stuff on the car like tires and oil and stuff , so i wanna make sure my car gets to best stuff;) i just got this ZX 4 weeks ago and plan on having it for a long time:)

Thanks
Yuichi

Where do you live? Depends on the climate. Here in Austin, Texas, I generally go with Castrol GTX 10W40 year round, and change it pretty regularly.
No problems with oil consumption here. Change it every 3000 miles or 3 months, which ever comes first. ( This will make you FEEL good; others may argue. We don't need to get into that. )

Should be around 4 and 3/4 quarts, with filter.
I only use Nissan filters, BTW. ( Good bet. )

You mean it smells like gas?

What's that?

Stuff you put in the gas tank is always lame ( unless its octane booster or alcohol. )

No turbo yet, and I'm running straight regular.

Out here in the wet northwest I've been running castrol syntec 10-40, unless you live in the yukon I wouldn't think you would need anything wild, a word of caution though, if your question about leak thingy means engine oil leaks, don't run synthetic oils-will leak worse.
I run 92 octane, probably not required, just makes me feel better. only thing either of the above has hurt is my wallet, synthetic oils aren't cheap.
