Lum... doin the Nayah Nayah dance.... LOL : P

The GREEN DEATH.....

NISSAN for whatever reason used dissimilar metals in there electrical connectors, vs the connection points, So like a neglected battery terminal, corrosion forms ( which is a big problem in older Z's with original wiring.

So if your connections aren't BRIGHT & SHINNY.. do this:

Take some limeaway spray the connection points... let it sit for a bit.
Then your air compressor blow all the yuck out.. I like to use Cramolin next to clean up the connection points, then pack with Di electric grease to weatherproof.

Some male connections might take a bit of filing to really get the connection clean.. use a LIGHT grit.. don't file ALL the metal off..

After doing this, reassemble and do the wiggle test...

All under hood connections are possible suspects..

PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME UNSEATING CONNECTION POINTS
THE PLASTIC HAS BEEN BAKED FOR 20-30 YEARS AND IS BRITTLE.

Make sure all connections & good & all your little metal clips are in place.

If not, come up with SOMETHING, lacing core ( old skool ) Ty wraps to hold it all together..

The ECM is a suspect point for some problems ( MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FIRST!) and do NOT just use the center bolt as the seating pressure, press the sides down as you go..

I have seen some heater cores bleed to death right on the ECM..

BUT if that isn't your CURRENT PROBLEM, that's a save for later...

Any electrical connection on the Z can benefit from a close inspection
