Don't forget some of Nissan's:

BCDD = Boost Controlled Decelleration Device
EFI = Electronic Fuel Injection
FICD = Fast Idle Control Device
EECS = Evaporative Emission Control System
ASCD = Automatic Speed Control Device
ECCS = Electronic Concentrated Engine Control System

And a couple of my own.....

TAMJ = Thing a ma jig
DHKY = Doo hick ey

What are these others also that I see in messages like IMO. There are others, and you who use them know what they are:) Sorry, but I don't most of the time. Just curious, I never learned those in school.

IMO = In my opinion
IMHO = In my humble opinion
AFAIK = As far as I know

There are many others but thats all that I can remember (or TAMOBTATICR).

FWIW ;=) only one of these is an acronym, FIT. Just like NASA is an acronym and FBI is not. If you can't pronouce it, then it's not an acronym.

Sorry to split hairs (STSH?) but as long as we're talking about language, I thought I'd throw my $.02 in. (Humm.. I really shouldn't end a sentece with a preposition, right?)

What about IMO vs IMHO....

What's the difference? So if you give your IMO (In My Opinion), is that not truthful because it's not an IMHO (In My Honest Opinion)???? Shouldn't IMO be called a IMDHO (In My DisHonest Opinion), or maybe we shouldn't use IMHO. But isn't an opinion always an honest opinion by default??

Just thinking out loud.
