With body work, the question is, How good do you want it to look? A pair of new front fenders is going to set you back about $600. You've got several alternatives if you want to save a few bucks: 1. Contrive to get the parts wholesale; 2. Buy them from a discount source; 3. Get fenders from a junk yard, bead blast, fit and prime them; or 4. Take the fenders you've got to a body restorer who knows what he's doing and have the rusted areas cut out and replaced. Whichever you choose, you're probably going to have to paint the whole car if you want a proper matchup, so I'd go for option 3 or 4.
