New ebay exhaust

I just got in my new exhasust today. I understand the general dislike of ebay exhaust around here but for $175 shipped it's hard to beat. It's a 2.25 stainless cat back with resonated h pipe. Came with gasket & bolts & the overall craftsmanship looks pretty good. I'm in South Carolina so I don't even know what salted roads are lol. It's my weekend car so if it's a little loud I can deal. I'm in a 94 5 speed na. I've already got a pop charger & I have a JWT ecu ready to be installed. I'll be running the cats so I don't think it'll be too loud. I'll take some pics & let yall know how it sounds when I get it installed. Hopefully I can get it done this weekend.

I have one on my 2+2 -- has worked great and just looks like stock. Probably not the same as yours - but got it with a "submit an offer" deal. I really don't drive the car over the winter here in NJ -- so no issues that way either...

FYI -- Applied some high temperature satin finish black spray paint before installing. Cleans up nice when washed and makes the rear "face" look a lot better.

What part did you paint? pic?
The one I got is polished stainless so I don't believe I'll be painting anything.
Pozterboy -- painted the visible sides and the flat part "face" that's seen by cars behind you. Sorry - don't have any real good photos of them on the car.

Kind of hard to see anyway -- really more about ease of cleaning when washing the car. Sheds mud/dirt much better than the flat black finish they came with....
bigmatthew46: don't blame you for not painting stainless. Hope it fits nicely but be ready for some frustration. Good luck.
big matthew where are you located in SC? I'm in Charleston. PM me
I'm from Rock Hill but I live in Columbia right now.
Oh ok, Theres a big crowd up that way. Most of em are posters on 3Zc though.
I'm not in any z clubs or anything right now. My Z looked great when I got it but the southern summers finally won out over my clear coat. I 'm rocking a flat black hood & peeling fenders right now so until I freshen her up I just kinda keep to myself lol. I can't be the one with the crappiest z car.

Ok I got the exhaust mounted today. Install went pretty smooth, needed a little finessing where the h pipe mounted to the cats. It sounds pretty good a little louder inside than I care for so I'm going to get some silencers at least for longer drives. Seems to rev a little faster but not a huge difference. I didn't get to install the ecu today ran out of time. Hard to tell how much it did because the cars not acting right. Not sure if I got a knock sensor going out or what but I got to track it down because it blows.

I'd recommend blurring out the cinder blocks from the pic before you get some flames...

but it looks very good for the price!
whats wrong with the cinder blocks the way he's got em? I used to do that all the time.... Just as long as he doesnt stack them upright or something... then I'd flame him. =]
That's how I roll bring on the flames.
If anything, I'd blur out the Size-11 work boot.

I like the Ebay exhausts for the money...can't beat them. But yes...louder...
That's a 12 lol. Yeah I don't do photo shop so I don't know how. I guess it's to be expected with straight through mufflers.
Do you know if they sell a version for the 2+2? If so, can you link the site or PM it to me?
