I know somebody out there must know enough about turbos and intercoolers to help me.
I'm a manager with a manufacturing company,with access to steel fabrication tools and well equipped machine shop. I've got the hots to fab an intercooler for my 83ZX, and need some specs.
Turbos are new to me, I know just enough to know what I'm after.
Does anybody know what size/capacity heat exchanger/air cooler most manufacturers use on their units?
If I had a unit to copy it would be easy. But that would defeat the purpose of this exercise.
How about ducting and any tricks in air acceleration? Optimum air temp? Help, I need a starting point!
This may be a futile attempt but I'm hooked!
