check your fuel pressure and vacuum. could be the chts
you know what the specs are on the fuel pressure and how i would check that ..... i will replace the the chts and see if that helps
i also took the vacumn off the top of the fuel pressure regulator and gave it gas and didnt notice any change is that normal !!!

No, it is not normal to terminate a sentence with three exclamation marks.
Removing the vac hose will usually make the engine run a bit richer.

Normal running fuel pressure is about 36-37psi with the vacuum hose off the FPR.
To check the fuel pressure, install a pressure gauge between the fuel filer and the fuel rail. There are probably web sites that show you how to do that.
If the CHTS or connection to it is open or short circuit, there would be an error recorded in the ECU.
The appropriate FSM will show you how to check.
