I will be replacing the clutch in my '82 N/A soon and I need your personal experiences. I know there are allot of different clutches that I can buy, but which one would be the best? I plan to AutoX at least twice a month. The motor is stock, ecxept ignition and exaust work, so there isn't a bundle of HP to worry about. I have seen clutches from Victoria British at $150, I have also seen the cenerforce units from motorsport for $250? (I think). I don't mind spending the money if the car needs it, but what's the point in spending money for nothing if I end up with a clutch that is overkill. In the same sense I don't want to put one in it that isn't up to the task.

Thanx for the help!

clutch

personaly i have a 83 zx but as you know they are all the same from 79up . i have recently put the centerforce dulefriction in my non turbo and i have found that for me it was worth the money.
my type of driving includes topping off the car,
and as you know they will push 125mph! but last year i went through 2 clutches and the problem was when i hit about 101and up the force on the fly will wasn't enough to hold and i would eventualy spin the the clutch, what i mean is the fly wheel would break loose from the clutch and glaze of grove the both of them. at least thats what my i have been told each time]
i'm not sure if that is what you are looking for
but the centerforce lets me hit any speed with ease. and trust me you will be able to tell the diffrence and its well worth the money
