Hey guys...By now you must think i have a POS Z car. but I bought it as a project car...and it has sure turned into one...

Anyways, previous owner had an aftermarket stereo installed in the car. It was stolen, and the theif totally riped out the entire lower dash right below the vent controls. Since then, the vent controls dont work. The fan blows, but all settings force air through the heater foot vents. (not good if I need the defroster.) Can anyone help me locating the problem?

>I had a the same problem with the heater. relace the vacuum hoses there are 4 just under the heater. the hoses also go into the engine compartment. Above the Vacuum tube, right in front of the battery is where they all join. I spent a day replacing the hoses under the dash and it was a 1 inch hose at that spot.
