My driver's side mirror is possessed!

Every time I get in the car, my driver's side view mirror is aimed too low. I readjust it, and it stays fine until I let it sit for a couple of hours, then it sneaks its way down. Maybe it wants me to slouch down in the seat more....

Anybody else have this happen? 1983 ZX.

Oh yeah. Drove in the rain today for the first time (considering how I have only had it running for 2 weeks). Front window leaks above my left knee, and a tiny leak above my shoulder. No biggie because I am pulling the window when I paint it.

Also 25 mpg this tank. A heck of a lot better than the 17 I am getting in my C1500 truck. It costs $4 in gas just to get to work in the morning!

Hey i have that problem whenever i get out of my car, i think its something to do with the door closing, my T-Top also leaks BAAD no cures yet - i keep a towel handy in the car to dry myself and the car when it rains heavy hehe. If its really annoying shove some tissues in the area its leaking - best answer i found :)

.....On the note of mirrors, i often dont notice mines pointing at the ground until i start driving, but, whenever i adjust the mirror back up its like they steal the power from the spark plugs and the car misses a few beats, but only for the first time i adjust it during the drive, every other mirror movement is fine.... weird
It sounds like those mirrors' motors (like mine) are susceptable to moisture and perhaps their windings corrode over time. If it draws that much amperage (nitr0), it seems like there is WAY too much resistance in the circuit. I'll try to investigate it further on mine if time allows, and possibly find a replacement motor from an electronics supplier.

If anybody else is interested in giving me a hand with it, <http://www.allelectronics.com> is a great spot for this kind of thing.

Also, gas just hit $2.00 / gal. for the cheap stuff here in Atlanta. It costs me $20 - $30 A DAY in gas depending on whether or not I have to go to school after work, and that's without going anywhere else. I believe that comes down to around $10, over an hour's drive, and mucho traffic just to get to work (commuting sucks almost as bad as my job =oþ).
