Re: Msquito> 300zx tt in a zx??
I did the leg work and some of the wrenching, I had a mechanic (he used to run a midnight blue 300zx twin, lived up in huntington, dunno where he is now) do most of the planning/design of the whole system. Took a custom exhaust manifold, the whole fuel injection system was reworked (and NOS added) I'm even a little fuzzy on the details of what was done (EFI isn't my thing), used a GMC 5ton turbo diesel truck intercooler, lots of custom bent pipe for intercooler/intake ducting... Also took new exhaust all the way back (3") I seem to recall we had to clearance (beat with a very big sledgehammer) the inner fender for clearance of something...
Only problem with the car was the car got going great... Reigning her in was another whole bag of worms
Car was amazing to drive, did a few trips from calgary -=> vancouver in 6hrs (including refueling stops (3, yep she was a pig)) only problem was the NOS was way too much, couldn't put that HP to the pavement, the lightest touch of the go button resulted in lots of smoke, the backend going squirrelly and nothing else. Winter driving was not an option!
