HEY THERE FELLOW Z-HEADS IWAS JUST WONDERING WHAT EXEPERIENCE ANYONE HAS HAD USING THE MSD6AL SYSTEM I HAVE AN EARLY 74 260 WITH 82 MOTOR 10.1 COMPRESSION AND A 280 DUR. CAM, WEBBER DOWNDRAFTS ANYWAY JUST WANTED TO KNOW THE PERFORMANCE OF USING THIS SYSTEM THANKS CHRISTURBO

Good. I'm using MSD 6A, Crane P81 coil, Taylor 8mm spiro-wire, and NGK plugs and geting good burns with .60" gapped plugs.

I found it worthwhile (and I was pretty skeptical but wanted engine bay complete before stripping and painting).

I have early 260z but with L26 and 72 round-top SUs. Biggest thing I noticed was that it still fired strongly even when my mixture was way out of whack. Really smoothed up the idle. Seemed to help throttle response too. I would think it would help the overall burn on a turbo car.

Worthwhile mod - make sure you do the coil too. (blaster2). Get the MSD with the rev-limiter (AL) - it is worth the extra.
