Ok, i bought a cold air intake from them for my 82zx 2+2...It does not fit. The metal bracket coming off the pipe misses the screw hole by about 2 inches. What the **** is that? This is just frustrating. I tried everything and i dont think there is anyway i can get it to fit.(it sticks too far up and will hit the hood when its closed. If you all think im doing something wrong let me know...Thanks..bye bye

i have one for my 79-no problem on install. are you putting the bracket towards the top? it should screw right in to the radiator support and the unit should be down low. if you can't get it email me for pics

shoulda made your own guys...

just as if not more ifficient than MSA's min ecam to a total of 90$$ canadian! thats like 60 american... and it looks better and I've put a large K&N cone on it and I'm assuming more area better flow and it all comes together with a piece of mandel bent 3"exhaust pipe. fits like a glove.. no bracket needed although I would like one... I'm thinkin about makeing an adjustable one... I can weld teh bottom of a bolt onto the exhaust pipe and then use a pice of metal and drill hols in the strip of metal for adjusting the filter for wet and dry conditions....

Yeah i have it up towards the top and it misses the hole that it is supposed to go in to by about 2 inches. Its very annoying

mine didnt fit well either. i have an 81 n/a zx
i had to drill a hole in the support and bolt it in there. it was off by alot. i probably got the wrong one or something....

MSA item sometimes don't fit. I returned the one I ordered because of the same thing. Out of fustration I made my own to my suprise it turned out to look better. Get this it cost me $69.00!!!!.

I did not show the front of the cone. Its a totally new design and the hold down bracket is not shown. There are four ways to secure the pipe to the frame. Its really simple. My pipe is smoked silver. Really pretty stuff. I might sell a few next week.

Simply take the one from MSA back and demand one that fits...
