Have any of you guy's done this coversion i went over two hybirdz but didnt quite find out what i need im going to get a 88-92 ford fan and i belive it has three wires.

So my question is how do you wire this up my 73 240z has no A/C but has a electric dizzy.
Any help would be helpful before i start frying things( which is kinda funny at first you just standing there looking at smoke and then you just realized that you did something very bad)

that is a 2 speed fan. It needs to be wired through relays. The high speed draws somewhere ahound 40 amps and the low speed somewhere around 16. (don't quote me on the exact #'s)but this is close. I am running this setup on my '72 I only have the high speed hooked up right now. It is activated by a temp switch in the thermostat housing. I do ,however have a wiring schematic somewhere around here as soon as I find it I can try to email it to you. Possibly even post it here
YEAH THAT WPOULD BE COOL ! so you have to run a termostat with that setup sound 's like its not exactly easy but then again what is huh!
thanks for your help that schematic would be great did you have problems mounting them and what kind of switch are you running if any
The adjustable thermostats are available at most auto stores. So are the relays. Really not that hard to wire in, just a bit time consuming, finding the perfect place for everything,so it doesn't look bad, and is easy to get to.---Bob
Can anyone post a picture or 2 of the Taurus fan with a L6?
