The general feeling on the forum here is that running a Holley 4-bbl on that 1-into-6 manifold is far inferior to the various side-draft configurations of the Z motors. Being a straight-six, this 4-bbl manifold is said to feed too much fuel to the center cylinders and not enough to the front and rear. I've read a number of posts from people running this setup who can't get the engine to run right. Check archives for more info. Note that I have never run this setup, so have no direct experience, but only echo what I've read here.

To answer your question, yes and no. If you can't find a used one cheaper yes the price is ok but there are other places to buy them like, Arizona Z and Clifford research that offer this manifold and a little different design. I would not pay more than 250.00. Optional, get the two barrel adapter plate or one from mr. gasket 4bbl to 2bbl plate. Use a 4bbl carb 400 cfm or smaller or a 2bbl or you will be sorry.

I have run a 4 hole carb and manifold on my Z, I think if I could have got the right metering needles in the carb it would have run just fine. I pulled my set-up and it sits in a box now.ninja240z wrote:
