i have used the straight line a few times in the past. the correct way to do it is to cut it to length and rebend back to original shape and then re flare . the easy way is just to get the short straight tube assy and roll a circle shape it to connect to both fittings.

i want to replace one of my front braked lines that connects the calipers to the rubber line. has anyone bought a straight line from check etc. and bent it to shape? i am curious how long it was.

I have done both methods. Just remember you need to get a flaring kit that is for automotive use, and perhaps practice on an old line. -----Bob
