I've been told the largest wheels you can put on a 280 without modifying it are 15x7's. Anyone know if this is true? Also, if I were to get a set that size, what offset would I need?

Always keep a close to 0 offset with your wheels, regardless of the size. If you dont, then it will mess up your suspension geometry.

16x7's w/0 offset work great with 225x50-16 tires, mild trimming of the fender lip in rear necessary. 16x8's with 245x45-16 will work in the rear with a one inch offset (5 backsetting). Seventeens will work with basically same offsets.
