Man Law Violation

I looked up "Man Law" last night just for fun to see what it said. Of course Wikipedia had it - this from the Beer Commercials a few years back.
Well in the run down - I don't know wich number in the Laws - "men shall not buy cars in brown . . . or light blue . . .
Ah - ouch, I had no idea , ah the wife made me do it . . . gotta be some loop hole.
Well, ah - the '81 280 ZXT is actually now copper. The original color was Bronze and I liked it.
But Bronze is brown - although it has gold metalic in it.
The '90 is a light powder blue with very small medium blue dots in it like miniture sprinkles. Looks like it was a re-paint over silver or grey - or just primer coming through.
So - both need paint jobs.
I want to paint the Zxelda back to factory original - but I've seen a slightly darker bronze that both the wife and I like but I would put in a lot more copper metal flake to take advantage of the sun light and give her a more copper color. But then - in shade or at night - it would look brown.
Zxena will get a re-paint later and I like the light blue but I'm thinking a couple shades bluer with a lot of silver metal flake in the paint.
Actually if I could afford it and could find someone to do it - I would like a mural - blue sky with clouds and a Dragon/s in flight - I have a shirt with this motif - I have almost 100 Dragon shirts.
I also have a small stuffed dragon in the silvery blue colors I'd life.
BUT
the above dragon painting would be - have to be subtle. The dragon and cloud images very pale - ghosted on the background so the you don't really notice it at first but in bright light would show up like a double exposure photograph.
Ok jusry of my peers - what say you?

Well there is no denying it. Nissan had some of the most hideous interior & exterior colours for the 280ZX. Along with the cheap plastic bits for the interior it looks like someone puked a gay parade on the inside of most of the 280ZX's. Basic black or strip the interior to bare metal is the only why to go IMHO.
Not a fan of the murals on cars, but if you feel you MUST do it, do it on the inside of the hood so you can show it off when you want.
As for the color choices you mention, the bronze with flake works for at ZX. Lighter blue is helped by flake. As you mentioned, you can always go a couple shades darker so you don't end up with a baby blue car.

Does it strike anybody else that the poses are slightly...uh...well... 'Light' and that the old guy with the beard may be into some strange kinks by the look of his company?
I mean, this is in a CHURCH right? What kind of message does that send to a teenage boy wanting to be a priest?

Well - I actually have a wolf T- shirt but my favorite T's are Buffalo themes #1 - Buffaloes on the plane - with buffalloes sitting in a 707 #2 - Buffaloes on the Range - with whatelse - buffaloes on a stove top.

The mural thing is more just a pipe dream - I doubt I will go that far.
But if I was to go the classical route - I favor Da Vinci's Last Supper - but the one he painted over - you know the one with the waiter asking JC - "separate checks?"

My first Z was that bronze/brown and I didn't like it, just less rust than others I had seen. I never had any mention of it being girly, light blue I can see though.

Trouble is - I like the light blue - more interesting than silver or grey - the National Color of Yuppies.
Hey now, my ZX is grey primer and silver Its like racism, its not the skin but the car within brotha.
My car, my paint. Anyone who doesn't like it should keep his thoughts private unless I ask his opinion (then I need to be ready to get his opinion,). Powder blue? Pink? Polka dots?
