I have an 83 turbo that the wiring harness burnt up in (my battery tie down broke and both posts touched the hood,... talk about a @#&^$%-up reason for a car to die!) Anyway I replaced every burnt wire on the car one by one. I thought this aproach would be fool proof. Unfortunately Murphy's law kicked in and now I get no juice at the coil. Everything else on the car seems to work fine. BTW I've replaced the coil, distributor, ECU and a couple smaller itemsto fix it, but no luck. My question is this, can I put a complete mallory ignition system in and make it work. I'm confused and frustated at this point, so any help would be greatly apreciated.
