I have a ' 79 280zx and am having a lot of trouble with the front end. The ball joints have gone twice in 5 years, the car does very little work, but will do in the near future and I dont want them going again. Its due for an alignment and there is no play in the wheel, and it steers fine. Any comments would be helpful, also I would like to find out the best way to replace the interior (well... fix it anyway)

welcome to the club. my ball joints are gone too. ive been readingup on how to change them. good luck changing yours.

Get Nissan ball joints, I ordered from Courtesy Nissan in TX. They cost more but the quality is much better and so far they are lasting alot longer than even Napa or Moog ball joints. The stuff from Advance and Auto Zone is junk.

Installing them is very easy if you've ever had your front suspension apart.
