ok so i installed a red single on LED from autolumination. they way its installed now, i get no light what so ever, it used to come on at around 198 miles so i atleast know how much gas i have left.... but the odd thing is: when i flip the LED 180 degrees it stays on ALL the time. and then i flip it an additional 180 (the way it is now) i get nothing. ideas gentlemen?

I'd put an incandescent bulb back in as a test and see if it starts working again. If bulb stays on all the time you'll know the sensor is acting up.

My sense would be the LED should not light up at all when switched around. The lamp bulb test would confirm.

hmmm, i just installed my gauge LED's and my low fuel light hasn't worked since either (causing my little mishap today) see "HELP! car on't start" lol. I haven't looked into it to find the cause of the problem. But if the fuel gauge needle actually worked on my Z it wouldn't have been an issue anyhow. . .
