Locking mechanism clips in cylinders

If you've ever inspected the 280z door locks closely you know that the arm that actually turns the lock is held onto the cylinder buy some sort of washer like clip. Without that clip the cylinder peg just spins in the arm, rather than actually turning.

One solution is to use JB weld, but when unlocking your door you must turn the key back into an upright position before removing it. The clips allowed for that much play, but any sort of glue will crack and loose it's bond to the metal if it is twisted in the manner necessary to remove the key.

I'm missing clips on both sides. For a while I used some sort of copper wire wrap around where the washer/clips should have been, but before long this wore out and left me popping off the trim to unlock my door or climbing into the hatch. I tried the cold weld metal epoxy from the auto store, but that barely lasted a day before it sheared off.

Where can I get some clips? I assume there should be at least a few extra little parts lying around SOMEWHERE from people who's lock cylinders wore out. The cylinders themselves are in great shape, so I don't want to replace the whole setup.

Any ideas?
