There is a sensor on my transmission. I have a 83 with a manual tranny. The sensor is allowing transmission oil to leak out. The manual narrows it down to a netural switch or OD gear switch. How do i know which one it is when i get a new one. The sensor is easy to replace I just need to know which one it is.

Look at the manual and compare the wire colors on the sensor with the wiring diagram.
