will the 810s L24E fit in a 240z? j/w

It will if you changes the oil pan(wich requires relocating the dip stick) because it has a front sump oil pan the Z needs rear sump. The l28E isnt as good as a 240Zs l24 because it has a smaller crankshaft(probably more likely to break amoung other disadvantages it probably has). Other than that they are pretty much the same motor, you can use just about anything off of it on a 240Z motor.

I wouldnt do the swap unless I already had the 810 motor and I was in dire need for a running car and couldnt afford and or couldnt find a L24, L26, or L28 Z motor.
