just this week i was looking at a magazine called "turbo somthing" and this guy removed the hole air box rez and MAF then he stuck a K&N pop charger right on the turbo inlet now i want to no if i cuold do that with my 300 seme's like that wuold be the most dierect air flow

he problably has a stand alone system that measures manifold pressure instead of relying on the AFM.

A good stand alone will run you $1000 and up.

you will have to put the mass air flow sensor between the filter and turbo, but im sure you could get the filter pretty darn close to the turbo

That might not be a good idea considering the turbo' in our cars sit roughly 6.5 inches off the ground. That leaves alot of room for road debris and moisture.

thats true but i will biuld an air box that will get air flow from the left side of the airdam where i will cut a hole to match the right side hole that is there from the factory that is olny on the 86 turbo
