My suggestion with this is just to go to one of the local auto stores and buy the one you want for like $35. I know now that around here Autozone and Checker both carry a good selection. Otherwise, you will probably get the replacement filter for the stock one, and not want it. Also, Motorsport auto has them also for about $40, that is where I got mine without the metal, just the filter. Good luck.

My first suggestion is to do a search of the Archives (there's a link for it at the top of the page) for Ram Air and you will probably find 5 different ways of building one.

The filter number that you found at performance Intl. is not for the cone filter. It is the flat one that goes into your stock air filter box.

If you want a cone one you can buy a kit from Motorsport for some good $$$ or you can build your own... Depending on the type of tubing you use you will need a different diameter opening on the Cone filter. Best to call Performance Intl and ask him if he can send you a K&N catalog. He is one very nice guy.
