As I've mentioned before, I inherited this 1980 base model from my uncle who purchased new. He always took great care of it, but I don't know if I think I have the original shocks and springs on the car. It only has 81k miles on it. I'd like to do some lowering springs, but if I'm already "lowered" new lowering springs and shocks are going to keep me at the same height. I'm currently at 5" of ground clearance at the rails. I'm not looking to slam this car. Maybe have about 4" of ground clearance.

Some ZX cars I see for sale have some 4x4 wheel gaps in the back.

It looks good to me, similar to my '83 ZXT. I think you will compromise the ride substantially if you lower it farther.

No disagreement there. Not that I would know about that 🤐

About to place an order for a set of Eibach springs, and some Koni adjustable shocks from The Z Store.

I'll also get that gland nut wrench from The Z Store as well. I'm hoping it works to remove the existing gland nut.
