I own a 1982 280zx.I have a situation were the coolant in the overflow tank for the raditator is being pushed out by air bubbles a fairly constant low flow. The radaitor cap is o.k.all the hoses seem good no leaks,I think the head gasket must be leaking air in the system. No water in oil,or in cylinders ,runs good? got any Ideas?????

It sounds like the classic head gasket failure to me. It is leaking on compression but no water is escaping. I would try torquing the head and see if it cures the problem. Probably not but worth a try. What's a few hours changing a head gasket worth? Or, how about having the head decked to make certain it is not warped.
Pressure check the cooling system. You can do it the conventional way by putting a pump where the radiator cap goes and after applying pressure see if the pressure drops or fill the radiator with coolant, disable the ignition and turn the engine over and watch the radiator fill access. If the head gasket has failed the compression in the cylinders when turning the engine over will invade the cooling system causing coolant or air bubbles to escape the radiator.
