2007 350Z 6 speed
Replacing clutch & CSC. As instructed in FSM, it looks to me like the CSC will ALWAYS in direct contact with the pressure plate with NO physical air-gap whatsoever. Is this correct?? It would appear that the CSC basically functions as a hydraulic throwout bearing and that it would quickly cause wear without any space or air gap (kind of like "riding the clutch" in the old days). I don't see any way to adjust for a gap anyway but it seems strange. Can somebody clarify.
