Hi all. A bit of CDROM progress for you:

I just wanted to let you all know that our Z-Car CD-ROM is only a few
days away from going gold! We are just about finished.

The ZCar CDROM is a compilation of all the original microfiche from
Nissan. It covers the early Zcars 1969 thru 1798 - 240z, 260z, 280z.

The images have been scanned at high quality (approx 3,450 x 2,706
pixels) using the latest in microfiche scanning technology (we hired
out for this service).

What does that mean? Well, these images are good enough to zoom
in and get a nice close up of all parts, and they even print out very nice
for use in the garage.

The information contained in the CDROM will be compatible with all
platforms = DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95/98, Windows NT, Macintosh,
and even Unix.

The information is viewable using the Adobe Acrobat Reader. We have
included hotlinks to all of the information contained in the microfiche
for the easiest possible navigation.

As you can see, I have created a product that will maintain the best
possible support for all platforms and is presented in a very easy to use
manner. Sales of this product will also benefit the 240z-Club.

If you have any questions about the CD-ROM, please don't hesitate to reply
to this message or give me a call.

I also have information on the 240z.org web site about the CD.

Thanks.

PS: Please ignore posts from a gentleman by the name of Amos
Cordell. He has slammed the Z-Car CDROM without finding more
information about our product. He has made claims that are just
not true and is attempting to make our product look poorly created.
These claims have been made against our product that isn't even
finished!

The funds from our CD-ROM sales will go to support our online
Internet Z-Car Clubs. The funds from his sales will not.

Support your online community!
