I have a 1976 280z, all the internal door parts are busted and the door isn't in the best condition. I found a 1980 280zx part car and I was wondering if the doors were compatible?

The parts manual for the S30s (1970-1978) is online at Datsun 240Z/260Z/280Z (S30) Parts Manual
For the door, the internal parts from 1970 to 1976 should be compatible. Most of the parts are different from left to right, though.

Per that website it looks like Steve240Z73 is right, but 2+2 doors are longer than 2 seater doors.
Good point. My response applied to coupe doors.

The glass is the same from 70-76, the door handles inner and outer and that's about it. The doors are the same from 74-76 only. Keep in mind that if your window regulators and front tracks are bent, I can usually straighten them. I know you said that the internal parts are broke, but it does depend on how broke in some cases. I'd recommend pulling the internal parts out for closer inspection and go from there. Z man of Washington

While the part numbers are different from the 240Z to 260Z for the door locks, they will swap over. I have done that.
